Verizon is offering $400 off iPhone 14, with trade in. I can keep my current plan. Last 2-3 weeks they offered $500 so I doubt deal will get better than $400. Current phone is 7+. Is this deal worth it?
I have had to offload a lot of apps, including a couple for work. So this is tempting. Please don’t suggest I change companies. Can’t do that for many reasons.
TIA.
RitaUnfortunately, it is REALLY hard to know what promotions will do. About 6 weeks ago they were offering $800 toward an iPhone 14 with a trade in. Could get better or could get worse as they get closer to the 15 coming out in September.
I will say – you will see an AMAZING difference coming from a 7+ to anything 12 or higher. I went from 7+ to 12 and it as such a huge difference in speed and ability.
JeannieYou are never getting anything for free from Verizon or AT&T. Ditch the big name and get cricket, mint, or Metro. You’re wallet will be happy.
VelmaI haven’t found anything cheaper than the prepaid plans from StraightTalk. I did the bring-your-own phone program. I bought a refurbished Pixel 4 on eBay for around $100 and the unlimited service is $35/monthly. Verizon has a similar plan that’s 35 with autopay but they tack on taxes, making it a hair more. I got that pixel 4 last year. I think I saw the 7 for the same price. Love the phone.
AmandaMake sure your phone does without a doubt qualify for that promotion. I traded in 3 paid off phones on a promotion like that and was told that we would see credit each month for the promotion and after 4 months of me arguing and calling I found out that our phones we traded in didn’t actually qualify for the full amount. They only qualified for $100…
So then they tried to stick me with $3000 in phone costs. Since it was passed a couple of days they give you to get your phone back I was stuck. Verizon is notorious for doing that.
RitaI never buy brand new phones, it’s not worth it to me. Get a used one on Ebay a few generations older, much cheaper.
