Something we can play together just the two of us (mandatory) but also possibly add people without teaching them too much (optional). We like catan, carcassone, blockus, fog of love, castle panic, pandemic.
We also have forbidden island and code names, both of which we haven’t played yet.
I’ve narrowed it down to Agricola, Tiny Towns, Sushi Go , Red Dragon Inn and Wingspan.
Anyone have experience with any of these 5 games and prefer one over the other, keeping in mind the current games we like?
Thank you..
WendyWingspan is beautifully done, and fun even with 2 players, but a bit complicated at first. The goals each round vary, and the resources component is kind of like catan.
Sushi Go is super quick, easy to pick up, and a great family game, but I probably wouldn’t pick it up to only play with my husband.
OrionI feel like Agricola is a great strategy game, but would be brutal to teach people quickly.
Wingspan has a great reputation in game group, but I have only played it with 4 people. I hear it’s still good as a w person one though.
