ISO: Advice for shower head filters and BPA free filtered water pitchers
Part 1:
I am a person living with lupus that affects the skin at times. There are so many chemicals in the water that irritate my body. I am unable to purchase a whole house filtration system at this time. Does anyone have knowledge about shower head and filters?(A) Do you purchase a completely new showerhead or is there an attachment for your current showerhead?
(B) Searched online and there are filters for hard water, filters for fluoride, filters for chlorine. These appear to be all separate. Is there one that filters out many chemicals that you know of?
Part 2:
I have an old Brita water filtering pitcher (at least 20 years old). I don’t think it is BPA free from back then.It doesn’t make sense to filer the water into a container that can put chemicals back into the water.
(A) Brita has worked well for me economically as a single person. Once again, I searched online and cannot tell if the newer ones are definitely BPA free.
(B) Does anyone know of a GLASS filtering water pitcher? Looked online for this also. Found one and it was out of stock everywhere.
I have a difficulty sometimes gathering information due to brain fog that accompanies this disease. I did my best. If you can help me, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
