I have life insurance plan and the terms of changed, almost doubling the monthly cost through Globe Life.

Just seeing if anyone has a different company that they love and would recommend.

Both of us are healthy 33 and 35 with 2nd baby on the way.

State Farm has Return of Premium life insurance. They are term policies but if you don’t pass away during the term you get the premiums you paid back in full.

I like it better than putting $ in a savings because if it’s in a savings then I might take it out of the savings.

Husband is 60 and we pay $43.23 for $500,000. Term life insurance should be inexpensive at your age.

Just fyi, most insurance companies will not insure a pregnant woman. And depending on the type of birth you have, a waiting period after delivering.

Do either of your employers offer life insurance? Mine covers one year’s pay and I’m able to increase that for a fee.

I was also able to get my husband, who is uninsurable for health reasons, coverage through my company.

We use Northwestern Mutual. It’s pricey, but we also have two kids and were only interested in companies with high ratings (that is to say if we need to use it we don’t want a hassle to get what we’re owed on top of our grief).

Zander it’s who Dave Ramsey recommended over 20 years ago and he still does. They will help you shop for the most affordable for your family’s needs.

renew your current policy and shop for one and change after the pregnancy is over.

verify what it takes to cancel the policy – but don’t cancel until you have the new policy in place.

If you’re pregnant, good luck finding a company that will insure you until well after you deliver. If you find one, you won’t want to pay the premiums.

Hubby had same sutuation but he is 65+. He started an acct with a financial advisor t have xx.xx direct deposit. It adds up. Using for burial costs. Better than term life.

Get term insurance only and shop around. It shouldn’t be more than $30/month at your age for $500,00 or more of coverage.
