I recertified my income this past summer and went from IBR to SAVE.
I thought I would have had a statement notice by now but my loans are still listed in deferment status. Other than recertifying and going to SAVE I haven’t requested anything else.
CalebMy first payment went out the 3rd I think it automatically switched me to SAVE.
TylerI made my first payment last week and it posted to my account.
They called me a few months ago to let me know payments will start back up in October.
KristinMy documents were corrected to show $0 monthly payments a few weeks ago based on the new SAVE calc.
They’d originally said it would be about $30/mo. Check your docs if you haven’t.
KathrynThey sent me a notice of administrative forbearance until December due to paperwork backlog and my new IBR request.
Trying to waive it so the months will count towards PSLF but not sure if it will work.
DominiqueGot mine yesterday (fri)
payment due Oct 19 so it’s exactly two weeks before due.
I also noticed that the interest accrued in sept was more than my monthly payment amount under SAVE plan
I sent them the exact amount of the requested monthly payment to see what happens to the overall bill and how much it goes down.
Nov payment i’ll decide what to actual pay them based on this months first repayment experiment.
