We aren’t really car people and are happy to drive 10-20 year old cars. However, while we like being very frugal, we’d also love to have cars with the best, newest safety features.
Does anyone know the best/easiest way to find out which year Corollas started having the best safety features, in terms of things like air bags, anti-lock brakes, collision prevention, autonomous braking, electronic stability control, blind spot warning, tire pressure monitoring, backing assistance, etc?
Cheers.
Jesse1000% avalon over camry or corolla. You get a better made engine and literally the best maintenance car ever made. No one knows about them but it’s basically a lexus.
MatthewStatistically it’s vehicles 0-3 years old that are the safest. Every make/model is different though. There are lists online that show the best years of different models.
JulieI really enjoy driving my 2007 Corolla but I know the side crash safety isn’t the highest rating. With a smaller car, that’s harder to do.
MarkCheck out The Car Care Nut on YouTube. The guy is an expert on what the best Toyota generations are to purchase. Highly recommended!
