Acts of service can be free or inexpensive christmas gifts! Helps your budget and takes something off of their plate. Also good for those people that don’t really need more “stuff”.

For example, for my brother’s gift my husband and I will deep clean his oven and refrigerator for him.

Looking for creative, thoughtful, and budget-friendly Christmas gift ideas that focus on acts of service rather than material items.

What are some meaningful ways to give back, help others, or share time and skills during the holiday season?

Examples could include volunteering, offering a helping hand, or creating something special with love.

How do you make these gestures truly impactful and memorable? Share your ideas and inspire others to celebrate the spirit of giving!

I actually asked for some specific acts of service one year as a gift (things I needed help with and/or didn’t have the time and/or desire to do) and was told No.

I agree for me, I would rather have time spent with people and kids , make a craft with them take the kids out somewhere or do something to help me out, let’s bake bread together, no need to gift me with flour and yeast, your time is considered the present

As long as the service is a gift the recipient wants I agree. I have two cousins who deep clean each other’s houses every year for birthday..

Brilliant! Especially for those who are no longer able to do those chores. I usually have to hire them done.
