Do any of use those cash back aps like Ibotta, Upside or Fetch? I’ve looked at them but never seemed worth my time.
How have your experiences been with them?
Are they worth the effort?
I’m considering using one to help save a bit of money on everyday purchases and would love to hear your thoughts, tips, and any success stories you might have.
Thanks!
WendyI use Ibotta and Fetch. They are definitely worth the time. I have over 600.00 in my Ibotta account and have made over 1500.00.
I’ve also gotten gift cards from Fetch.
SaraI use Upside a lot.. There are many options for fuel, restaurants, and even some grocery stores…
If you’re gonna be patronized a participating location, might as well get some cash back for doing so.
AlexI use ibotta, fetch, receipt pal, receipt hog, box tops for education, and Amazon shopper panel.
I average at least $170 a year in gift cards.
It can be time consuming but some family and neighbors save me receipts so I get even more points.
MelindaThey are so worth it! On ibotta alone over the last 8 years I’ve earned over 11k!
AllisonI like Fetch because it is so simple. I also like it because it frequently has items that earn bonus points and they are actually items that I use frequently.
For example, right now if I spend $30 at Petco I would get 2,000 points.
I can scan receipts from thrift stores and doctors’ offices.
My only problem is that unless, I set up a Gmail email address, I won’t get points for my online purchases from Amazon and other places.
GeriI use Ibotta, I don’t do too much shopping so it takes me a little long to earn cash back but I’ve made quite a bit since I started three or four years ago
