I’m looking for recommendations on effective and affordable treatments for facial dark spots.

They are getting so much worse in my 60s.

Has anyone had success with particular products or remedies that don’t break the bank?

Your insights and experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I used OTC wart remover 12 years ago and they have not returned. The kind that freezes your skin.

You will feel little zapping as it freezes that top layer of skin.

You may or may not get some superficial abrasion scabbing.

I put some Vaseline on it.

And before anyone chastises my off label usage, they make it to use on the top layer of your skin to begin with right?

Albeit not on your face per se but it’s not that powerful a product.

I had to apply the product about 3 separate times to start seeing results.

What about Caster Oil? Everyone is spouting that it is good for so much.

I do use it, but not consistently.

          Consistency may be needed.

          Any thoughts/ideas/testimonials?

Mix some lemon juice with 1 teaspoon baking soda to get a paste. Apply to dark spots, and leave on for 3-4 minutes before washing your face.

I think none of us would have dark spots if there was an inexpensive product to use.

I’m not convinced there’s a very expensive product to use may be a dermatologist or plastic surgeon, which I can’t afford either.

I just do the best I can.

Castor oil is all you need. No sunscreens. Research the negatives.

I believe my dr prescribed hydroquinone years ago to treat my pigmented spots on my face.

Also be sure to wear sunscreen everyday.

I used lemon essential oil and frankincense oil mixed with almond oil. It took a few weeks of daily use but it worked.

I ordered the oils from Now Foods.

They also sell them on Amazon.

Maybe not inexpensive but I had my dermatologist freeze off my dark spots.

                      It works

It’s not cheap….but not horrible…. trust alchemy spot check. Better than any product I’ve used!
