I’m trying to decide if I should do that this summer instead of a 9-6 pm 6 days a week minimum wage job…
Debby(BS7) I’d take the $15/hour job. That money is guaranteed from the minute you clock in until you clock out and it saves the wear n’ tear on your vehicle plus all the gas costs.
MadisonMy husband drove uber & made between 5k-7k a month but that is full time. It was AWFUL on our car, put like 17k miles on it in 6-8 months so he stopped. I would work a regular minimum wage job if we could have a do-over. It was not worth the wear/tear on our car.
SamWhen it’s busy in my area about 20 an hour. The struggle is that it’s not consistently busy at each meal time every day here so it’s hard to make consistent money, when I do I make like 80 bucks for three hours and it’s great but it doesn’t continue past four-five hours.
DavidUsed to be a lot better than it was. I was making 30 an hour but now it’s around 20. I like Amazon flex a lot more but you can’t work as much due to scheduled shifts.
StephanieIt depends on your area. 9-6 in my area I would clear less than 50/day. On a weekend is where I make money and late nights. I would get a job that already pulls taxes and is counted income since dashing has a ton of variables.
