I see “advertisements” on instagram about flying 1st class for $2000 and staying in nice hotels for less than $200.

Has anyone done these hacks?? I guess I could try to figure it out myself but just wondering if there are any success stories out there .

The internet is a prime location to apply “if it looks too good to be true”

I don’t pay any attention to Instagram, it seems a bit of a cesspool to me.

There are several problems with third party sites, often times the prices are not real time, one must go spelunking for hidden fees and the airlines will ignore any request for help telling you it is not there ticket.

Truly one gets what they pay for.

I reduce spending in other parts of my life so I can afford to purchase direct from airlines.

I don’t know as much about $200 hotels cause way out of my price range.

If the name of the company is on any of your advertising, research them.

All the time. I just flew first class to Japan. My trip cost very little due to points.

I traveled to 5 different places this year with little to no cost.

If you have more than one airport nearby test out prices from both. An example is Tampa to Boston verses Orlando to Boston.

Normally flying from Tampa is cheaper but when I checked today flying from Orlando was cheaper for the same dates/same airline.

Tampa was $725 first class round trip and Orlando was $499 first class round trip

I know that some people are really into travel hacks. They seem to be about racking up points on credit cards.

You can set up notifications on Google for flights. So if they drop a lot in price or some really low price.

It can be last minute thought.
