Has anyone tried painting their kitchen countertops? I would love to know the difficulty level and any tips you might have.

What kind of paint did you use, and how has it held up over time?

Any advice on preparation and application would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We painted ours, but it only lasted a few months without rubbing off.

We repainted, and then topped it with a few coats of marine varnish.

That helped a lot.

Daich coatings they have coatings for counter tops. I have not tried them.

My friend used epoxy for garage floors. She’s happy with it.

I did it! Not difficult at all! Make sure to do all prep work. Been 7 years now and it is starting to chip away!
