I replaced my shower liner not too long ago and the bottom already looks gross and dingy. It gets sprayed/cleaned/wiped down all the time, and I make sure the shower curtain is pulled out to dry between showers. Do I just have to replace it again or is there a way to prevent it from looking like it’s not clean?

I spray mine with a bleach solution and it can also be washed in the machine! I got those double sided hooks so it’s easy to take on and off.

Put in your washing mashing machine.

I got sick of that and bought a cloth liner so I can throw it in the washer and bleach it.

Put a couple of towels in the washer with it to scrub off the grunge.

I replaced mine years ago with a fabric liner, mine is the brand Hookless. The liner snaps in place and is very easy to remove to machine wash.

Add a towel to the washing machine when you wash it. The towel helps with the agitation so more soap scum comes off. It could also be the type of liner. We have a fabric one, and it could do with a washing every couple of months.

I washed mine in my machine and hung it outside to dry. Worked well.

I’m guessing it’s a vinyl curtain. Buy a nylon one. Stays looking nice much longer and you can wash it and it will look like new.

With a vinyl curtain I cut the bottom seam off. Give it a vinegar rinse to keep it pliable. With a fabric liner just bleach it.
