Hello. I make a lot of purchases through amazon. It’s easier for me. But can I lower my cost on things?
We buy blue buffalo for the dogs for food. Does anywhere sell it cheaper?

I don’t have time to physically go to Walmart. But is it much cheaper than Amazon? For things like soap, shampoo, laundry, conditioner? Etc.?

The green dish I’m returning, it’s too small for what I need.

I haven’t bought anything for myself in a few months.
The top purchase is a pedicure.

I haven’t had one in 2 years. My nails were so long and ingrown it was too painful to walk. It was a need. I can’t cut my own myself.

The bones, I haven’t given the dog that treat in like 3 years. So that too is not a normal purchase.

Normal purchase are the dog food, personal hygiene. & clothes for the youngest when he tears through his clothes. Backpack is also a replacement.

Anyway any tips? Ideas to save money? Thanks.

If your insurance covers it try seeing a podiatrist for your toenails. I see one every other month to have my nails cut and my feet checked.

I’m a diabetic and also can’t do my own

I play games on my phone for Amazon gift cards. When the grandkids want to play, I put them on my game apps and let them play.

It adds up to $50 or $100 a month depending on how much we play.

I price compare the things I buy often (flour, toilet paper, paper towels, etc). I try to check again every few months to see if anything is changed. I keep a list in my notes app.

I also use ibotta to look for savings. And we use the Amazon subscribe and save discounts too

(and sometimes they’ll give you an extra % off for signing up for s&s the first time, so I’ll buy a large qty of something like puppy pads for my potty training kids and then just cancel the subscription after the first shipment)

I’d skip the blue buffalo and get a food food that follows WSAVA guidelines.

Skipping anything that’s linked to diet associated dilated cardiomyopathy in dogs.

Walmart tends to have cheaper prices than Amazon, but you can compare prices online.

I have some subscribe and save items on Amazon, but I tend to use Walmart a lot more.

Walmart + is very convenient for regular food shopping delivery.

Walmart+ is the best. $100 for the year and delivery is free as long as you meet the $35 minimum which is not hard to do

I always type what I am searching for and +best price and it shows me other options

Walmart+, which is $100 per year. Free delivery if over $35.
Amazon prime is $139+ per year.

Unless you’re near a hub, same day or next day delivery doesn’t exist

For dog food I typically rotate between retailers who carry it (tractor supply, chewy, Amazon, PetSmart) and sign up for a “subscription” when they are offering a large discount for the first delivery.

Then I cancel it after the first bag arrives.

By doing this I usually get 20-30% off each bag.

Get a dog food subscription from tractor supply. The dog food is better quality anyway. Blue Buffalo is trash.
