I haven’t been buying food out because I got myself in a credit card mess that I have been trying to pay off for a couple of months.

Almost at the finish line btw!

Should be done in mid September but because of it I have been eating at home.

Any extra dollar I have I’ve been throwing at the cc.

My husband and I went to get something at Lowe’s and we decided to stop at Starbucks because of the fall drinks are now out. I ordered through the app.

I haven’t been to Starbucks in months but my mouth was wide open when I saw that it was 18 dollars for two drinks and a muffin that we split.

I saw that the muffin was about $3 something.

We decided to go buy a pumpkin bread mix and it was the exact same cost as that one muffin but we had pumpkin bread last us almost all week to drink with our coffee at home.

These food prices just make me not want to go out and eat. We used to buy pizza but now we just get a frozen pizza for like 6 dollars instead of spending 25 on a pizza.

I ordered some pumpkin flavor coffee and will be making it at home. My husband has mentioned that we have not been going over budget and it’s all due to the food.

Making it at home. Prioritizing home cooked meals because take out and coffee and going to restaurants is just insane unfortunately.

I honestly don’t understand how people are able to go every single day to get coffee and breakfast or lunch, etc.

I am honestly impressed because it would burn a hole for us quickly.

We make our own drinks and it’s way better and healthier than Starbucks and restaurants.

        Starbucks coffee is crap.

Yes, I’ve had coffee in Asia and Europe and that’s how I know Starbucks is a con.

We also make food that’s better than many restaurants and can’t justify going out.

Prices for food at restaurants are off the hook crazy!! And then the restaurants sit empty!

I just made Krusteuz banana nut muffins. They are tremendous! I’m not a coffee drinker but do occasionally go for an iced tea.

The $4-$5 price always makes me wince so I don’t do it very often.

The people who buy coffee or lunch every day are carrying cc balances and wondering why they’re falling behind every month.

We only eat out about once a month, and pay cash for most things.

The coffee out is never consistent either! You never know if it will be good so it’s like a $8 gamble

I think I’ll buy some pumpkin bread mix this week too

I make my own food at home. We had to live in a hotel for a few weeks while closing in a house and unfortunately I didn’t have a kitchen to cook in.

I became sick from eating out because we are not used to it and the money we spent was insane.

I also love to have sugar free creamer for my coffee sometimes I love to make my own coffee at home and enjoy it.

Now that I have a kitchen we love to cook our meals and I even make McDonalds at home.

My boys love their homemade chicken nuggets and fries and they also learn how to cook.

We love to drink our coffee in our cozy cottage and I also like to bake and both of us can cook.

I don’t throw money out of the window. (Ich werfe kein Geld aus dem Fenster).

Yes. My daughter had two of her grandsons in the car and stopped at McDonald’s.

She got 2 chicken nugget happy meals, with extra fries and 3 thick shakes.

                        $31.00!!! Ridiculous!!!
