Gold is at an all time high if you have any old jewelry pieces to sell. I generated some extra cash this week by taking some older gold pieces of jewelry to sell. I was surprised how much I made!
Question: “With the current market trends, how much could someone potentially earn from selling old gold jewelry?
Are there specific factors, such as the purity of the gold or the demand in your area, that significantly influence the value?
Feel free to share your experiences, insights, or any recent examples of selling gold.”
SheilaCan I ask how the process went? Do you have to have specific kinds of gold? 24k, 14k and or do they separate those weights for you?
If you can share what price per oz they offered?
FlatYou better hold on to that gold. Pretty soon you are going to need it to eat. There’s a reason gold is going up!
ElizabethMy son, my sister and I lived together. When he was little (6?) a TV ad made him think he’d learned how to solve our money worries (we weren’t really poor, just had to live simply and forego many of the extras he saw others enjoy).
We had to explain that we didn’t have any old unwanted gold jewelry — at that stage not even much new, wanted gold jewelry!
The memory of his innocence make it a happy memory.
Isabellaif the jewelry’s pieces are nice, you will probably make more money via a auction side like catawiki.
Otherwise you just get a weight price and nothing for the stones or the work.
