I will need major sugery very soon. I live alone and will have minimal help.
I want to buy a pair of those step-in shoes…the ones where the heels just pop up into place when you step into the shoes. I wear a size 9. Wide toes. NARROW HEELS…like a 4A narrow.
What is an AFFORDABLE but comfortable brand I should look at?
RitaIt is worth buying a grab stick before surgery if you will be alone.
MaryI love Kiziks! My whole family wear them and we have wide feet! Worth the money they last forever! I have had knee surgery and the extended shoe horns are useless! Don’t waste your money!
ErinI just bought the Skechers – they were $90 but worth every penny. Just had my second knee replacement in 8 months and these are the best! Maybe they will start showing up second hand soon. I know $90 is a lot.
AldaBefore I had surgery, I cooked entrees and froze them. That way I did not have to rely too much on grocery delivery. Also, I didn’t have any restaurant delivery because of my prepared meals.
ConnieI have a pair of Kizicks brand! They are excellent but they were $99 the year they came out. I only wear them in November through March. I wear flip flops absolutely the rest of the time. This will be my third winter with them and they are in excellent shape.
ErinLifestrides are a good brand. I have wide feet and have a hard time finding wide shoes but I have been able to buy these on EBay and Amazon.
Walmart also use to carry Dr.Scholl’s. Not sure if they still do.
SandraAnd you can get inserts for heels. I have narrow heels and have to do that sometimes – Nike has narrow shoes and I have bought pull on style b4.
