A range would be preferred. For me, around $5k USD present value.
MarkNo one can answer this without u saying where ur going. U should update w more info. Are u alone where r u going. Western Europe is going to be much more expensive than SE Asia..
South America can vary widely. plus, we don’t know the lifestyle ur used to. $5k a month is insanely high for me.
I could easily budget travel around Europe and se Asia for well under $1k a month.
Tony2k a month can get you a place to stay and some amazing food plus activities. With more money you will be living like a king lol.
Mel DiWe usually spend 1k USD per week of traveling for the two of us together. We’ve been non stop traveling for 1 year at a time through southeast Asia and 5 months Latin America and it always worked out around that mark.
Stayed in hotels or airbnbs and ate out or cooked ourselves in more expensive environments (Caribbean).

TrevisMy slow traveling budget target is about 6k /mo on average total living and travel expenses for two people. Plan is to balance expensive places with cheap ones to keep the anual cost in check.
If you’re thinking long term slow travel check out the Facebook group Go With Less, Eat.walk.learn (now called Nomad Life) and Senior Nomads. All active groups with tons of good info and personal experiences.
DavidI have a few friends who have traveled nonstop for months on end. Some are going on over a year of slow travel. I think the most any of them have spent is roughly around $4K a month but many of them have spent around $2,500 a month.
But there are too many factors. You could travel to one place and spend $2K a night for the hotel room. But in general I find slow travel to be very cheap compared to most peoples normal spending.
