The Amazon Prime Visa card. What’s your experience?
I’m considering applying for the Amazon Prime Visa card and would love to hear from those who have experience with it.
How has it worked for you?
Are the rewards as good as they sound, especially for frequent Amazon shoppers?
Have you encountered any issues with customer service, fees, or any other unexpected surprises?
Overall, would you recommend this card, and why or why not?
Please share your thoughts and any tips for getting the most out of this card.
Thanks in advance!
EricI use it often. Only because I use prime for so many things. I pay for prime anyway and when I use my visa and let everything ship slower I get 6% back.
It has no fee if you have prime.
DaveI use it for Amazon subscribe and save items and use all the rewards for Christmas and birthday presents.
If you are getting a gift from me, it’s coming from Amazon
MeganIt’s a solid cashback card to fold into a cashback strategy if you are a heavy Whole Foods and Amazon shopper.
No FTFs. It is better to liquidate the points earned as Cashback than it is to hold and redeem for product.
The latter means lost earn on spend.
Any cashback strategy you want to anchor with an across the board 2% cashback card and then fold in cards that bonus well on some of your top spending categories.
ShannonI do credit card hacking for travel and it’s not worth it for me.
If you do it though, I think my husband used to cash out the points rather than apply them towards purchases because you don’t earn points on points if that makes senseRonI have it and use it just for Amazon purchases and love it for that.
MaxI have it, but only use it for Amazon and Whole Foods purchases.
ChrisI just Prime and it is connected to my Amazon purchases. No regrets
RebeccaLove it! I shop a lot on Amazon (with 5% on purchases, 6% if you choose slower shipping).
But what I really love is the “no foreign transaction fees” as we travel often!
JulieMy oldest card and the only one I have memorized, but I don’t regularly subscribe to Prime now.
