Hello Frugal Friends. I’ve been keeping a running list of everything I want to watch on Netflix.
My plan was to get it for one month, binge it all and then cancel it until I have a new list built up.
But, I was thinking maybe some of you know of a discount to get Netflix for the year that might make sense?
Thanks in advance!
TabitaRemember that you can borrow movies and series FOR FREE from your local library
JanNetflix is one of the few that seldom has deals at the end of the year. They are pretty cheap to start with. I do the plan with commercials and it’s cheap.
Hulu and some of the others have great deals at the end of the year. I get Hulu for 99 cents a month
RhondaI have seen pretty much everything, so I cancelled for awhile. I like saving monthly on not having it. Maybe next year I will reinstalll it when more new stuff comes out!
ChristinaI just get what I want for free from the library or, much more rarely, order from Amazon with slower shipping, get the credit for that and use it to rent things there.
KathyI have 6.99 per month (with commercials). No contract. In US
Tanyatry freevee ,also if you have xfinity internet some plans offer peacock for free (ad version but I don’t mind)
PattiIt’s the one that I have never seen discounts for. I think there may be some new bundles or deals with cell service but you still end up paying for it.
TerriI haven’t run across any deals for Netflix, but I did get Peacock Premium for $19.99 for the year.
They occasionally have new movies available the same day they premier in theaters. Tubi is free.
ReneeBlack Friday weekend most of the streaming services have really great specials for like .99 cents or maybe $2 a month! I think netflix is one of them.
Every year, you just have to change your email account so you lose your history, but it’s worth it for the discounts!
BrendaI went to purefix for 4.99 a month great family movies. None of the garbage Netflix puts on
EileenI just signed up for Discovery Plus for $2 a month for 3 months. I always do it this time every year to watch the Halloween competition baking shows.
And then I cancel and do it again next year
NancyI buy a Netflix gift card for 1 month and also receive fuel points for purchasing it.
Watch everything I want, wait a few months and do it again.
HollyI got paramount plus free for a month and when I went to cancel they gave me two more free months. It’s not Netflix but it has good stuff I’m enjoying!
ErinIf it’s within your budget, I only pay $6.99 a month for Netflix with ads. The next tier is like $15.49 without ads, so it’s worth it to just watch the ads
MelissaFor us. Netflix is worth it , to keep it as it is.
The whole family uses it. I have so many k dramas to watch on there. We just cut the cord. So, I need something to keep me occupied. And no ads for us.
I’m sick of the ads on Hulu as it is
AnitaThey just started a new $6.99 monthly fee with ads and up to 2 screens at a time. We just signed up for Disney plus as they have it 1.99 a month for 3 months.
So will cancel after 3 months.
KellyI use streaming services TubiTV, Freevee and PlutoTV through my gaming console. They’re all free to use and are pretty decent.
