I’m looking for an app that can help me compare prices for grocery items at local stores. Specifically, I’m interested in an app that provides information on prices for items like milk, butter, bread, and other common grocery products.

The goal is to find the best deals and save money by checking prices across different stores in my area.

If you know of any apps that offer this feature or have any recommendations, please share!

Additionally, I would appreciate any feedback on the usability and accuracy of such apps.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Someone pointed out that if you scan the barcode of an item (when you’re in one store) on the app of another store, you can see the price at the competitor.

This will not work with store brands.

I just use a google spreadsheet to do that I rely on a combo of store websites, sale papers and going to the store myself for price data

FLIPP is ONLY for items that are in the stores’ weekly sale flyers/ads.
It does NOT show you a store’s regular price on an item

So, it’s good to compare sale prices that week for, say, boneless chicken breasts–it will show you all the stores that have them in their flyer on sale.

But it won’t list all stores’ everyday shelf price…

Flipp is pretty good but will only pull up sales. So if milk is on sale it will come up for the stores having it on sale but it wouldn’t show you the current price of milk at every store in your area.
