I’m looking for tips and strategies to save more money in my day-to-day life. Are there any additional ways I can cut expenses or increase my savings? Whether it’s through budgeting techniques, frugal living tips, or other money-saving strategies, I’m open to any suggestions. Can anyone share their experiences or advice on how to save more effectively?
I’d appreciate any insights or recommendations.
Thanks!
LeslyIt would depend on your current habits. Some people can save a lot of money by eating out less frequently, but someone else could not since they usually don’t eat out.
All relative to what your current habits are, what you’ve done or can do.
RonaThere are a lot of ways but we don’t know what your up too. So you should start there with the question. Sometimes you can be doing it all.
It gets to the point where you just need to earn more to achieve your goals.
SusanShop for things you need and not want. I do a grocery list before going to the store and how much I’ll spend on each item. Example:
- Chicken 20.00
- Hamburger 15.00
- Pasta 10.00
- Veggies 10.00
And I stick to it saved me thousands in a year easy
DawnYes.
Look at what you don’t need. For myself I stopped buying lots of cleaners I only have Dawn dish soap and toilet bowl cleaner. I don’t buy plug ins or candies anymore.
I don’t buy lots of bottles of body spray only two and I use them up. I don’t use any paper products.
I use reusable items like zip lock bags. I don’t buy shaving cream, liquid body soap or femine wash.
I use dove bar soap in bulk from Sam’s club now. For body abd hand washing at the sink.
No dryer sheets. Really sit down and think about what you buy that you don’t need. No bottles of Clorox bacterial wipes. I just wash the counter.
My cats and dog do not NEED treats or wet food, they just need their dry food.

TheresaIf you eat your meals out, you can save so much money doing it yourself.
MelissaThis whole page is about saving money. What have you done? Or pick one area and we can give suggestions.
HelenRead The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey and start the baby steps plan. Its a game changer.
JenniferI canceled my Netflix and Apple Music. No Uber eats. Literally eats what’s in the house regardless what it is. Or starve.
Worth a look: After 13 years of paying for Netflix we decided to cancel
ValerieAim to live below your means.
VictoriaI don’t get out as I can’t walk I shop on Amazon a lot find items a lot cheaper especially if your buying in bulk.
