It’s just not the same Looking at career options to take me through the next 20-25 years.

Wants: low stress job. Decent pay and/or benefits. I’m willing to do some training or apprenticeship but not looking to get another degree like a MBA or Masters. I’m also willing to take a couple “fun” part-time jobs as well. Home at nights and not too much travel.

Thoughts? What would you do in 2023 if you had to scrap your current career and start a new one?

This is very vague. But my first thought is that any job with decent pay and benefits (comparable to RN) is going to involve a decent level of stress. Hard to beat nursing for career options. Have you looked into outpatient surgery? Pacu or preop sometimes has lower stress and fewer 12 hour shifts.

My sister was a beside nurse. Left that a while ago to go work for an insurance company as a case manager. She is now fully work from home, working 4 days a week. She couldn’t be happier and will be at this job until she retires.
