Sadly however both members of her household, her included, recently lost their mums so I’m after any kind of ideas that let me spoil my own mum but respect that they may not feel very celebratory and which won’t offend the other household member if that makes sense.

Budget of £50 so would be delivered.

If she has a yard .. plant a tree in memory of mothers. Make it a tree that blooms with flowers.

A good meal is always my go to. If you are not local, maybe find out what they are loving lately & order takeout for them or offer a voucher/gift certificate. After loss or during times of stress/celebration, it is so hard to think of ourselves & our needs, but everyone needs to eat! Or even a grocery voucher could go a long way.

A photo blanket of she and her dear mother along with other family photos. She can curl up and use it as comfort. She’ll be wrapped in love.

Put together a hamper of stuff they can both enjoy. Teas, coffees, biscuits/cakes/savoury treats that have a relatively long date.
