Amanda
She is not by nature a difficult woman, but she has everything she needs. Growing up, my family emphasized the ephemeral and experiential over material. So, for Mother’s Day today, I’m driving over her favorite dessert, a lemon meringue pie still warm out of the oven.
I still use her mother’s recipe to make this pie.
BeulahBest Mother’s Day gift is a visit from your child!
KristinMy mother is the same way and I struggle to find things to get for her. Recently I have discovered that you can actually make donations in a loved one’s name to certain charities.
She had a college roommate she was very close with who died of leukemia so this year I donated to the leukemia lymphoma society on behalf of my mother in memory of her roommate.
DebbyMost Mothers would rather have something homemade because it comes from you hands and heart.
Great gift.
LeslieOne of my favorites and uses ingredients that most of us have on hand. I use to make it all the time when my kids were little, but my meringue didn’t look as perfect as yours!
SherriPerfect! I’m sure she will love it! My fave gift to receive is flowers…hand-picked wildflowers.
