Next Sunday is Mother’s Day and we want to have a fish fry and have the kids and grandkids over so me and hubby went fishing at the river and caught a cooler full (we had so much fun).
Saturday I will pick veggies from the garden and get some flowers for free from my neighbor who works at a florist to give to the daughters!
Only thing I will be buying is a smoked beef hock which will cost a few bucks!
Now that frugal Mother’s Day is going to be fabulous!
NancyThat sounds so sweet!
I am going to spend Mother’s Day alone as usual.
My only child works out of state. He will call of course. He wants to make me happy.
My grandchildren are busy with their mom. Later, they will see their grandmother that lives right next door.
I have learned to keep busy on Mother’s Day. After all, it is only 24 hours.
Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers! Blessings!
AngelaMother’s Day does need to be big and expensive. All my mom wants it to spend time together. It’s one of the only days I will sit through a football match, because she wants to watch it.
MarianneI do Chinese food only because we rarely go out to eat… Spend time with my son and my best friend Bob.
