Just tried the Sam’s brand of dishwasher pods. They are about 1/2 the price of Cascade Platinum and according to Consumer Reports work just as well. I was impressed.

Sam’s Club offers a variety of household products, including dishwasher pods that are often promoted as affordable and high-performing.

With the rising costs of brand-name products, many people are turning to store brands for their everyday needs.

Sam’s Club dishwasher pods claim to be an effective alternative, offering both convenience and cost savings.

Have you tried Sam’s Club dishwasher pods? If so, how do they compare to other popular brands in terms of cleaning power, scent, and value for money?

Are they tough on grease and dried-on food? Share your experiences with us—whether positive or negative—and let us know if they’ve become your go-to choice or if you still prefer other brands!

I use Costco Kirkland brand and they work great, also.

Yeah, when did dishwasher detergent get to be for rich people only? What is going on with the prices?

Thankfully my store still carries their store brand liquid and powder which does a decent job.

I just don’t see how people can drop $20+ on dishwasher detergent!

I just use the powder. Cheap, easy and works just as well.

My daughter bought me the Sam’s dishwasher liquid in the huge jug (I was a dishwasher packet snob for so long) and this jug is lasting me FOREVER!

I’ve heard that the liquid is better for the machine anyway.

Only downside is the jug is so heavy I have to keep it on the floor.

Pods are bad for your dishwasher and pipes. Use liquid only.

I don’t use pod anything. The pod doesn’t dissolve sufficiently and often clogs.

Do not use parts of any kind they’re not good for your pipes. You’ll find out if you continue.

Finish Platinum are the only ones that don’t etch my glassware.
