Looking to invest for the long term? Let’s discuss ETFs and index funds! Whether you’re a seasoned investor or just starting out, finding the right investment vehicles can be crucial for building wealth over time. Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) and index funds are popular choices due to their diversified nature and relatively low fees. They offer exposure to a wide range of assets, including stocks, bonds, and commodities, allowing investors to spread their risk across various sectors and industries.
Some well-known ETFs and index funds include Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF (VTI), SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY), and iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV). These funds track major market indexes and provide investors with broad market exposure.
Additionally, consider factors such as expense ratios, historical performance, and investment objectives when selecting ETFs and index funds for your long-term investment strategy.

BenIf you are just starting out and don’t really know what you want to do yet, then I recommend VOO or VTI. These are broad market indexes and are generally the best for diversification.
Now this is assuming you have a longer time horizon (probably more than 7 years I would say) for investing if you plan on retiring soon, I would consult with a financial advisor, but you may need to balance your portfolio so it’s less volatile.
