Something that I can give some variety to and make taste a little different with the same ingredients from leftovers. I have most kitchen staples except butter and milk, but may run to the store for butter soon. just trying to use what I have before going to the store. I also like to bake from scratch so pastas, breads, etc. welcome too.
No pot pies, chilis, or basic veggie soups please.
HavensMash some veggies, cooked rice and bean-season (garlic, onion, Italian, etc)- make “burgers” either fry in pan or bake on parchment or make “meatballs”.
Look up recipes for peanut sauces for over noodles.
Can chop up pistachios and “crust” meat.
SheilaLook on Pinterest for hobo bean. Several cans of different beans, 1/2 pound of hamburger, onions….some bacon…..I had it all on hand and was glad to use what I had…and it tasted great….I had enough for two meals for me and did lots of containers for freezer meals.
