Looking for book recommendations for a freshman in college who is interested in learning about investing.

They are undecided for their major but they are leaning towards business, I didn’t know if there were books that people liked.

I’m a college freshman with a growing interest in business and finance.

I’m eager to start learning about investing, but I’m not sure where to begin.

Could you recommend some essential books on investing that would be suitable for someone at my level?

I’m looking for books that provide clear explanations, practical advice, and foundational knowledge to help me get started on the right foot.

Whether they focus on personal finance, stock market investing, or general business principles, I’d love to hear your suggestions.

      Thanks in advance!

You interested in investing, not merely financial planning or being invested.

I’m a highly competent analyst and stock picker, and I can attribute that success first and foremost to the principles discussed in the books below.

You will not find a better list:

The Most Important Thing by Howard Marks.

The Dhandho Investor by Mohnish Pabrai.

Good Stocks Cheap by Jeffrey Kenneth Marshall.
And the Bible of Investing, “Security Analysis” by Benjamin Graham.

Or “The Intelligent Investor” also by Graham.

In that order. Also good: “Richer, Wiser, Happier” by William Green.
