I feel that I have automated many of my work tasks, but I definitely feel there are some home or financial tasks that I could automate that I haven’t. Or devices you have bought to automate things (robot vacuum, etc.)?
AmandaNot automated, but I plan several meals in a row with ingredients in mind to reduce waste. This way I always know what’s for breakfast, lunch and dinner for at least 1 or 2 weeks.
JyothiSet up all bills on auto-pay so never have to think about late fees and finance charges. But then of course, you have to make sure you have enough $ in account to pay those bills.
JenniferI added both routine and non-routine tasks to my calendar – filter replacements, car servicing, scheduling doctor appointments, canceling subscriptions a month before they renew, watering plants, purchasing birthday presents, etc. When a task comes up on my calendar I do it and then forget about it. And there’s lots of home chore lists online that will help make chores routine and easier to complete.
WendyRumba, humidifier, air purifier and plug in lights (inside and outside) are all preset timers, yard and garden on drip timers in summer and heat tape in winter; bills and deposits on auto pay; set calendar on phone for ;reminders for annual subscriptions, classes i want to attend and vehicle oil changes; prep meals for ease then into small packs to freezer (ex meatballs); keep airfryer handy (small portions and much less cleanup); and buy some groceries when on sale to create pantry stock to help with inflation and limit trips to town
SandraAmazon subscribe and save. Buying food on sale and keeping enough that I don’t have to go to the grocery store very often, other than fresh veggies. Cooking ingredients ahead to make buddha bowls throughout the week. Automate bill payments. Alexa reminders, Google calendar reminders. Decluttering so I have less to manage and easier to clean.
