We had a party recently and have a lot of leftover cheese cubes. Besides just eating it now, putting in salad, what else can we do with it?

I’ve heard cheese cubes don’t freeze that well.

I often find myself with extra cheese cubes after a meal, and while they’re great for snacking or tossing into salads, I’m looking for some new and innovative ways to enjoy them.

Whether it’s for cooking, baking, or even using them as part of a unique appetizer or snack, I’d love to hear your ideas!

How do you repurpose leftover cheese cubes to avoid waste and add a little extra flavor to your meals?

Any tips or recipes would be greatly appreciated!

Frozen cheese can keep for up to three months. You can thaw it in the fridge for 24 hours, or add it to dishes straight from frozen.

Frozen cheese can get crumbly when it thaws, but it melts well.

Freezing cheese shouldn’t change its flavor much, but it might change its texture.

Pulse cheese in food processor with some spices, herbs and white wine for a delicious cheese spread.

Add to rice and broccoli for a side dish. You can add diced cooked chicken to make a casserole.

I made the very best ever macaroni and cheese from a bag of random cheese cubes left over after a party in 2014.

My husband still reminisces about the “magical” mac & cheese which can never be duplicated.

They freeze well enough. They can later be made into cheese sauce. I do it.

I like to cut them into smaller cubes and add them to pasta salad with things like olives too.

But cheese doesn’t freeze well because it crumbles.

If you don’t mind it crumbling it’s fine.

I used frozen crumbled cheese to easily top Mac n cheese or other baked dishes before I throw them in the oven!

Shred it in a food processor then put a little bit in the bottom of each cup of a greased cupcake pan add a few sliced pickles on top, then add more cheese.

Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes.

Take it out let it cool completely and then pop them out of the pan.

They make really yummy cheese pickle crisps.

If it’s a hard type of cheese like cheddar or parmesan. Put it on parchment paper and microwave a couple of minutes.

They will come out like whisps.

Cheese freezes fine! You can defrost in milk and it’s like the day it went into the freezer

Put cubes on wax paper and put an oven 350 for 20 minutes and pull them out and let them cool and you’ll have crackers. Yum.

Shred and freeze in vacuum seal. That’s what I do and use it over a years time. It’s perfectly fine.

Pulse it in a food processor and make pimento cheese with it or make cheese straws.

If you don’t have a cookie press make cheese Krispies.

Cut it up fine and melt on top of nachos. Cut it up and use it on a tuna casserole.

Cut it up and put it on a bagel, bake it for a few minutes or broil it for a couple of minutes until the cheese melts.
