I’ve been with Verizon forever and just switched to Visible after reviewing posts here but had to immediately switch back because I have a tablet (which they don’t do) and Verizon was charging me the old price for just the tablet without the phone line.

I was psyched about Visible because it’s owned by Verizon and provided the same benefits I’m used to (such as $10/day international travel pass). I’d love to get feedback from anyone who was with Verizon and switched to another provider (that also takes tablets) that they’re happy with.

What has been better? What has been worse? Anything you miss? TIA!

Can you use phone hotspot to tablet and skip the table cellular plan completely?

Not a switch to another carrier, but switched to Verizon unlimited welcome which is $30/month and can switch to ultimate unlimited when traveling for $55/ month which has international coverage.

I too was with Verizon forever, then came the day I needed customer service-none available so I jumped to Cricket (uses AT&T network) That was 3 months ago. So far, no problems.

I had a problem with my Airalo ESIM. It suddenly stopped working after about 7 days in the Philippines. I had a global ESIM.

After a long back and forth with customer service trying to resolve, I gave up, and they refunded me the unused data quickly and easily.

I then bought another ESIM on the Nomad app, so far so good the last 3 weeks.

I’ve always used my visible hotspot for my tablet even out in the hills but makes sense if the phone with the original service isn’t near.

I love visible but only use it on my phone and as a hotspot.

I had been considering visible too because of some of the comments on here. But after researching and finding how difficult it is to just ask questions, even albeit online, I’ve decided that’s not for me.

However, I do think I can do the pre-paid and still save money although maybe not quite as much.
