What’s y’all’s favorite thing to make ahead and freeze so you can have on hand? I already do like sandwich bread.

My almost 2-year-old son is super into helping me cook right now So I’m trying to find some recipes that I could freeze for later that would also help financially

Almost all cooked foods freeze well. You can freeze hummus, cookies, muffins, soups, chili, burritos, pasta dishes, cooked meat. Make what you like!

We freeze cookie dough in scoops( mostly so we don’t eat the whole batch right off).

Take out frozen dough, plop on cookie sheet, bake and voila… fresh and easy cookies!

Soup! Always have veg beef in freezer. I like to empty my fridge of vegetable left overs before garbage day.

I usually start with one pound of pot roast and use up the vegetables before they go bad.

Throw in a handful of mixed beans and Walla soup and used up stuff before it went bad.

Freeze in freezer bags lay flat to freeze then stack.

Throw in microwave for one minute brake up in to chunks in a bowl finish microwaving.

              About 5 minutes.

Anything I cook, I freeze some for later. Soup, stew, chili, beans, you name it.
