Working hard to keep it down but still worried!!
GloriaI am not. I’m so happy to have AC.
ErinKeeping my thermostat set at 78°. Also running the ceiling fans more, keeping the drapes pulled during the hottest part of the day. It’s helping a small bit.
PaulineI was dreading mine because I had to have a huge shade tree cut down but I’ve covered all windows, use fans and don’t use my oven for anything. Not nearly as bad as I thought.

TriciaI live in middle ga and it is miserably hot. Our house is 3,600 sq feet so no small bills here. I’m thankful for air conditioning. But I’ll still complain about the bill. Lol
CindyI don’t like it really cool, so there’s actually not much of a difference in my bill. I open the patio door until about 1, then close it and have a sun shade. It stays reasonably cool. If I run the AC, it’s set on Eco, so it cycles on and off.
DeborahI keep my AC at 77 but the best thing I do is send the same amount to the electric utility every month. This is not a “budget plan” but just something I do. I have natural gas heat, hot water, and range/oven so in the winter my electric bill is fairly low. I took a look at a year’s worth of electric and gas billing and averaged it out. I run in credit most of the year and come out even in the summer. Makes sense for me and my budget.
