Haha! I need ideas! He likes tools, recently started a vegetable garden and likes grilling but has everything he needs for his hobbies.
I’m sure I’m not the only one in this dilemma.
Please help!
JessicaIf he gardens, consider how to frame his bounty. Select some recipes and put onto cards that use his produce. Or make canning labels featuring his face and a ‘company name’ if you do canning or even label when you freeze the produce. It’s a nice reminder of the work he did.
AngelaI’m all about experiences but I can say as a new hobby gardener myself, I have a long list of wants to choose from if someone asked lol (he probably does too!)
StephanieMy husband has everything too, but I know he follows certain pitmaster guys of YouTube. One in particular is the Bearded Butcher. He has a line of seasonings and rubs that my husband was thrilled to receive as a gift. Meat Church is another one. Good luck!
TamsinKids draw a picture and get it put on a T-shirt for him. It is Father’s Day, not husband appreciation day, see what your kids might like to do.
LindaI saw a cool idea.. buy a mailbox. Let kids paint/decorate it then have your hubby put it on a post in the garden to hold gloves and small tools like snippers etc
AnneMy exhusband loves Reeses PB cups. So one year we filled an orange bag with mini ones, and wrote in brown sharpie on the bag “Dad, we go together like peanut butter and chocolate“.
ElayneOne of our daughters gives her dad a big bag of fritoes every year. He loves them and I won’t buy them for him.
DanielleGift card for meats, have the kids make some seasoning for him tons of recipes online for something new, subscription to man cave boxes.
SusanMake a video skit starring your kids. It’s their day to celebrate their Dad. Maybe do a scavengers hunt around your town and leave little notes for him from the kids example find clues to end up at an ice cream shop buy ice cream pick up the next clue go to a park and play hide the next clue etc.. Can get as fancy or simple as you want. Make it be all about them telling him how much they love him..
Usually most places like little local restaurants, coffee shops, greenhouses etc will help with this type of fun celebration.
PatriciaHow old are the kids? You could ask them where they want to take dad and what they’d like to do for Fathers Day and give the oldest the $$$ if old enough. Nothing will make him happier than seeing how proud his kids are to take him out for ice cream or whatever.
CindyHe might like a grill set or apron and grill utinsils set. Lawn chairs or gift cert to dinner. A nice coffee based basket with coffees ,a cup ,flavoredcreamers, cookies, a gift card to a coffee shop. Or a real nice bottle of alcohol if he’s a drinker. Shot glasses. His face after shave. Binoculars, a framed picture of his kids, if he served in the military a flag pole and flag and a flag that represents the branch of military he was in or a veteran hat from the branch he served with.
CoralTool storage! Pegboard to wall mount, drawer sets, strong magnets glued on a wall board to hold small tools, containers, a tackle box for the small odds and ends, a good sharpening tool?
LauraSilly tee shirt. We brought my son home on Father’s day and I had gotten him silly dad shirt before he was born so I made him wear them.
