Curious about turning regular gel hand soap into foaming hand wash? I’ve heard about this hack and I’m wondering if it really works. Has anyone tried diluting gel hand soap with water to create foaming hand wash? If so, what was your experience? Did it produce a satisfactory foam, or did it affect the soap’s effectiveness or consistency?
Additionally, if you have any tips or recommended ratios for achieving the best results, please share! I’m eager to hear from those who have experimented with this method and learn whether it’s a convenient and cost-effective alternative to purchasing foaming hand wash.
Thanks in advance for your insights!
KristineYes, if you have a foaming hand wash bottle. I was gifted some bath and body works foaming hand soap and when it was empty I just put in a little regular hand soap and the rest water. Works great.
JenniferYep just add water.
SharonAbsolutely. I have been reusing a foaming soap dispenser for well over a decade.
NgocI dilute Dr. Bronner’s castile soap 1 part soap to 3 parts water. You just need a bottle that a foaming soap pump can fit on to. The Castile soap is such an amazing degreaser!
It’s a permanent fixture on my kitchen sink.
