Would leftover spaghetti meat sauce work well in a sub with mozzarella?

      I have some left over meat sauce from spaghetti I made the other day. Do you all think it would be good if I made a sub with it instead of meatballs?

      It sounds good to me but I am second guessing myself.

      I planned on broiling it open face with mozzarella cheese.

      Just trying to use up my leftovers but I am not a huge pasta eater.

        Absolutely!!!
        Last night I had leftover sauce and some cooked rice. I made for dinner a bowl w rice, sauce, green peas that were frozen, grated cheese and some mozzarella.

        Sort of a deconstructed arianci. Was yummy.

          Love it! Love the creative ideas, I like to create things nobody knows it’s not a recipe it just taste yummy. Be creative instead of wasteful.

            Yes. Spread over a nice piece of French bread cut lengthwise with a salad on the side if you want. Sounds delicious.

                You could freeze it untill you need it for something else…..but your samdwich does sound yummy

                  I liked the competition, but wished they “yes” had all done the same (and save their comp to be used later! Same with the “no”.

                  I love new comps – stuff they couldn’t practice lol.

                    There was a local cutlet place when I was a kid. They had a cult following.

                    In addition to cutlets, they also sold sauce sandwiches for cheap money that were a huge hit

                      Sounds good. You could also do pizza pockets or calzones and freeze them for a quick dinner or grab and go lunch.

                        If you have a Zuchinni you could sauté it with fresh mushrooms add the sauce

                          Meatball sub with melted cheese and sauce. Yum. You can buy frozen meatballs in a bag at the grocery store.

                          Use some, keep the rest frozen for later.
